Job Highlights Career Development and Opportunities Duty Meals, Birthday Leave & Flexible benefits Complimentary Room Nights & Discounted Room Rates We are looking for a Director of Engineering The Director of Engineering is overall in charge of maintenance operations of hotel facilities, electrical systems, kitchen equipment, emergency power system, and other related equipment in accordance with guest service, preventive maintenance, and energy conservation standards and programs. As a Director of Engineering, we rely on you to: Manage departmental operations expenses and prepare for annual budget & Capex. Ensure hotel facilities' MEP systems are in good working condition to support daily operations. Establish and implement a preventive maintenance program to achieve higher reliability and serviceability of hotel facilities. Plan and implement projects to improve plant efficiency and reduce other operating & maintenance costs. Ensure a systematic and cost-effective process of operating, maintaining, and upgrading assets. Identify hazards and potential safety concerns and be accountable for Fire Life Safety in the hotel. Ensure compliance with international standards and local authority requirements. Conduct training programs for team members in accordance with the requirements of the Engineering Services Manual and Fire Life Safety Manual. Conduct Engineering and Fire Life Safety audits. Perform other duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Engineering Services Manual and Fire Life Safety Manual or as directed by the General Manager. We are looking for someone who: Degree in Engineering or relevant field. Minimum of five (5) years of advanced knowledge of building management/engineering experience in the hospitality industry. Hands-on experience in hotel operations, repair, and maintenance. Strong understanding of building life safety systems and energy management systems. Strong leadership qualities.
