Gardener

Responsibilities:

Planting and Maintenance: Plant, transplant, and maintain a variety of plants, including flowers, shrubs, and trees.

Water and fertilize plants as needed.

Prune and trim plants to shape and health.

Weed and mulch garden beds. Lawn Care: Mow lawns to the desired height and pattern.

Edge and trim lawns for a neat appearance.

Aerate and fertilize lawns to promote healthy growth. Equipment Maintenance: Maintain gardening tools and equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and edgers.

Clean and store equipment properly. Pest and Disease Control: Monitor for pests and diseases and take appropriate action.

Apply pesticides and herbicides as needed, following safety guidelines. General Groundskeeping: Remove debris and litter from outdoor areas.

Sweep walkways and patios.

Repair fences, gates, and other outdoor structures. Qualifications:

Proven experience as a gardener or in a related field.

Knowledge of plant care, pruning techniques, and pest control.

Ability to operate and maintain gardening equipment.

Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
