Alfardan Group, Doha, QatarPosted 2 days ago | Expires in 2 monthsAlfardan Properties currently has a vacancy for a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer.Job Responsibilities:Implement strategic plans for the organization's IT infrastructure in alignment with business goals and objectives.Assess current infrastructure capabilities, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, reliability, and performance meet or exceed service level agreements (SLAs).Conduct regular assessments and audits of infrastructure components, identifying and addressing any issues or vulnerabilities.Implement proactive monitoring and maintenance practices to prevent downtime and minimize disruptions to business operations.Coordinate and execute infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, and data center expansions.Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project requirements, mitigate risks, and resolve technical challenges.Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for IT infrastructure.Conduct regular testing and updates to ensure preparation for potential disruptions.Enforce security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization's infrastructure assets and data.Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate potential risks.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to infrastructure security and data privacy.Experience & Knowledge Requirements:Experience with switching VLANs, ACLs.Experience with routers, firewalls, and other network devices (e.g., Cisco, PA, Juniper, etc.).Experience with wireless networking standards & technologies (e.g., Wi-Fi 6, WPA3).Experience with cloud services and networking in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Technical awareness in IP phone systems (e.g., Cisco, Avaya).Experience with data center management.Experience with active directory management.Experience with Hyper-V VMware.Experience with servers HW, OS management.Certifications:Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)Fortinet Network Security Specialist (NSE 6)Or any relevant certificate.Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Alfardan Group has earned a reputation for being a leader in the premium lifestyle market.
