Position: Business Development Executive Location: Jaipur (Includes regular travel) Division: Sales & Business Development Reports To: Regional Sales Head Salary Range: Up to ₹6,00,000 per annum Required Work Experience & Knowledge: Education:

  • Bachelor's in Engineering (Electrical or Civil). MBA is an advantage.
Experience:
  • Proven experience of 3+ years in Business Development Management with a track record of successful team leadership.
  • Prior experience in solar energy projects is a plus.
  • Sales management experience with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, knowledge of regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: Essential/Key Responsibilities: Business Planning:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve organizational goals.
  • Create and execute comprehensive business plans for water infrastructure and related projects.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, understanding their needs and requirements.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, achievements, and challenges.
  • Conduct data analysis to assess the effectiveness of strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Digital Marketing Strategies:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement digital marketing strategies for promoting water infrastructure and solar services.
Document Management:
  • Implement effective document management systems to organize and maintain project-related documentation securely.
KPI Development and Monitoring:
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of business development efforts.
Market Entry Strategies:
  • Formulate market entry strategies for expanding the organization's presence into new geographic regions or international markets.
Operational Duties: Sales Funnel Management:
  • Analyze the sales funnel, including lead generation, qualification, proposal submission, negotiation, and closing.
Client Data Collection:
  • Continuously update and enhance the client database with new information and maintain accurate records for targeted marketing and engagement efforts.
Conversion Rate Analysis:
  • Calculate and analyze conversion rates at different stages of the sales funnel to identify areas for improvement.
Additional Responsibilities: Technical Expertise:
  • Manage sales for industrial pumps in assigned regions.
  • Handle technical support for erection, commissioning, and troubleshooting of industrial pumps.
  • Prepare technical offers and support tender documentation for government and private clients.
Client and Dealer Management:
  • Manage relationships with dealers and key accounts, including major clients.
  • Conduct training sessions for dealer employees on technical product knowledge and system processes.
Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure timely payments and collections, oversee delivery timelines, and maintain client satisfaction.
Skills Required: Team Management:
  • Proficiency in managing and mentoring teams, delegating tasks effectively, and resolving conflicts.
Decision-Making:
  • Ability to make timely and informed decisions to optimize operations and address issues.
