QUANTITY SURVEYOR

• Cost Estimation and Planning: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects, including labour, materials, and equipment.
• Cost Control: Monitor project costs and financial progress, identifying potential savings or overruns and ensuring costs stay within approved budgets.
• Prepare project related documentation: Prepare quotations, memos, and letters.
• Site Visits: Conduct site visits and update project progress for each project.
• Progress Claims: Prepare monthly progress claims and submit before deadlines, following up with the client's Interim Payment Certificate accordingly.
• Procurement: Manage the procurement process, including sourcing materials, equipment, and subcontractors while ensuring cost efficiency.
• Subcontractor Claims: Verify subcontractors' claims and prepare related interim payment certificates.
• Final Accounts Preparation: Oversee the preparation and settlement of final accounts with clients.
• Additional Duties: Undertake duties/assignments as appropriately assigned by the Superior.

Qualifications & Experience

• Mandarin language speaking & reading is compulsory to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients and team members.
• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and legal guidelines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
