Project Engineer (Water Treatment)

Job Description: Project execution for water and wastewater treatment system projects: desalination plants, sewage treatment plant, industrial water and wastewater treatment plant. Develop detailed design and P&IDs based on customer requirements and basic design. Review project specification to ensure company design complies with customer specifications. Prepare equipment datasheets (equipment data sheets, valve lists, equipment list, piping schedule, etc). Review and collaborate with designer/drafter to develop complex equipment skid 3D model. Review of supplier, fabricator and sub-contractor quotation and deliverable to ensure compliance with project specification. Coordination of all technical activities on assigned projects. Project engineering schedules and forecasts. Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned project engineering work; Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables. Monthly project status reports and change orders. Monitors work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices. Accountable for the successful completion of engineering projects. Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants. Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants, and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied. Ensure that project charges are correctly represented for accounting’s closing process. Requirements: Degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering. Candidates with knowledge of water treatment, wastewater, environmental engineering is preferred. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience. Good in verbal and written communication skills in English. General computer knowledge is essential (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, MS Outlook).
