Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company’s operational requirements and financial goals.
- Analyze and present reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and other key metrics to management.
- Lead the implementation of procurement best practices and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Monitor supplier performance and quality, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to make informed procurement decisions.
- Support in budgeting and forecasting of product prices to facilitate business strategy.
- Ensure P2P cycle is completed timely and accurately.
- Ensure zero inefficiency costs (detention, demurrage, damages) due to negligence or delays in documentation.
- Partner with project teams for on-time New Product Launches by identifying robust suppliers and closely tracking network timelines and project budgets.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating terms, addressing concerns, and ensuring a reliable supply chain.
- Engage closely with cross-functional department heads to understand the business direction and proactively plan for upcoming demand.
