Hotel Contracting Executive

Travel Agents/Consultants (Hospitality & Tourism) About the role We are seeking an experienced Hotel Contracting Executive to join our dynamic team at Asian Trails (M) Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in negotiating and maintaining strong relationships with hotel partners to secure the best rates and availability for our clients. What you'll be doing

• Negotiate and manage hotel contracts, rates, and allocations to ensure the best possible deals for our customers
• Liaise with hotel partners to maintain and strengthen relationships, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise
• Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with the sales and reservation teams to ensure the seamless delivery of travel packages
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all hotel contracts and related documentation

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in hotel contracting or a similar role within the travel and tourism industry
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with hotel partners
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to analyse data and generate reports
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of the travel and hospitality industry, including trends, competitors, and customer preferences
