Job Title: Senior Automotive Project Estimator

1. Understanding technical requirements of clients in the automotive industry.
2. Creating concept solutions required for potential projects.
3. Checking concept solution feasibility.
4. Performing engineering calculations to determine required equipment and material specifications.
5. Costing hardware and labour required for potential projects.
6. Preparing and formatting offer documentation.
7. Preparing and formatting sales concept presentations.
8. Completing project offers according to customer-driven timing.
9. Developing and creating tools to improve the efficiency of project costing and offer creation.
10. Working with engineers and project teams to identify areas of improvement for future project offers.

1. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive or project engineering (advantageous).
2. Engineering-based qualification required (NDip or higher).
3. Experience in project costing (advantageous).
4. High degree of computer literacy in MS Office.
5. Very good analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
6. Pro-active work ethic.
7. Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
8. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
9. Excellent attention to detail.
10. Goal-driven.
