Sabeo | Systems Administrator - Office 365

Our client is actively looking for a Senior System Administrator who will be responsible for effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of key end-user facing service components and other more specialised systems. This role will form part of the IT Operations team and reports to the Head of IT Operations. It is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to excel. The role is based in our clients head office in Wexford but will entail some travel to local facilities from time to time. Key Responsibilities: The core responsibilities will centre around the following areas: Implementing, maintaining, supporting, developing and designing Microsoft 365 based environments. Replication, mirroring, security, compression, traffic analysis, process automation, storage/back-up provisioning and related techniques. Ensuring the integrity of high availability network infrastructures to provide maximum performance for their users. Producing written reports, documenting technical issues, problems and solutions. Microsoft Infrastructure: Server , Active Directory, Exchange 2013 and Office 365. Other Experience Virtualisation: Hyper-V Storage: Dell SAN, Backup technologies: Veeam, Altaro Fortinet firewalls and solid WAN configurations In-depth knowledge of Intune configuration and Defender EDR and XDR and SOC/SEIM. The Candidate should have the following: Qualifications, experience & skills BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline MCSE 2016 Minimum 5 years post qualification experience of computer hardware and software support experience in an enterprise environment Demonstrable experience of End User Compute in a commercial business Strong experience of Microsoft Technologies: Azure AD, SCCM, WSUS, Intune MDM Experience with configuring Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Excellent technology skills with Microsoft O365, MS Office and MS Collaboration tools Experience supporting mobile devices and video conferencing systems. High level of knowledge of service desk policies and procedures. Prior experience working in a retail environment would be beneficial. Automation experience using MS Power tools for user live cycle management an advantage. Experience working with an outsource provider preferred.
