Procurement Strategy Development:Develop and implement strategies for steel and cement procurement that align with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to secure optimal value and reliability.Supplier Management & Negotiation:Identify and evaluate suppliers, building strong vendor relationships for cost-effective and timely procurement.Negotiate contracts and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance with terms and quality standards.Cost Control & Budgeting:Collaborate with finance and project teams to manage budgets, track expenditures, and find cost-saving opportunities.Regularly review material costs and proactively mitigate price fluctuations in the steel and cement markets.Supply Chain Optimization:Oversee the full supply chain for timely delivery of materials, working with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize processes.Address supply chain disruptions quickly to avoid project delays.Quality Assurance & Compliance:Ensure materials meet required quality standards and comply with procurement policies, regulations, and project specifications.Team Leadership & Collaboration:Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align procurement with project objectives.Report regularly to senior management on procurement performance and market conditions.Risk Management:Develop contingency plans to manage risks and ensure continuous supply of critical materials.
