Hiring for Nurse Unit Manager at Mediclinic Middle East in UAEAugust 25, 2024Company - Mediclinic Middle EastLocation - Dubai, United Arab EmiratesRequired Experience:At least 3-5 years' nursing leadership experience preferably in a private hospital5 years senior nursing role in Operating TheatreDesired: 5-10 years senior nursing experienceJob Description:Designation: Nurse Unit Manager - Operating TheatreIndustry Type: Medical/ Hospital/ HealthcareJob Period: Full TimeResponsibilities:To provide strong leadership and management guidance to the teamTo ensure evidence based patient care practices are followed as per clinical standardsTo ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that enables team engagementTo manage allocated clinical and non-clinical resources in a cost efficient and effective manner to enhance safe patient careTo monitor and manage compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to ensure continuous quality improvementRequirements:Demonstrate the ability to implement all five (5) stages of the Scientific Nursing Process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation)UAE Labour LawComputer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applicationsCost management principlesDemonstrate Nursing functional competence (Nursing practice)Quality management and governance standards and best practiceRisk management principles, systems and best practiceSkilled in the demonstration and assessment of all relevant clinical proceduresStock control principles and managementUAE healthcare regulatory framework and related requirementsWorkforce planning and schedulingTo lead and manage the nursing team in the provision of patient-centric and evidence-based nursing care, operational efficiency, and positive patient experiences.Desired Candidate Profile:Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized/accredited Nursing InstituteMaster of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field
