Job Description
Handle a full set of accounts (GL / AP / AR / P&L / BS) for two companies independently on day-to-day functions. Reconcile bank to ensure timely bank records tally with the accounting system. Able to keep track and meet deadlines well. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures, and statutory requirements. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities. Handle payroll and other HR issues. Manage current and fixed deposit accounts regularly. Monitor petty cash and cash flow for the company. Liaise with suppliers, banks, external auditors, and tax agents. Prepare timely and accurate monthly and yearly financial reports, management accounts, and audit reports. Assist in company restructuring activities. Able to work with co-workers from different departments. Assist Admin/Front Desk when necessary. Report to Managing Director(s) and General Manager.Job Requirements
- Able to speak Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu.
- Candidate must possess at least an LCCI certification/Bachelor's/Professional Degree/Certificate in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- Proficient in Malaysian accounting-related subjects and with government laws and regulations.
- Proficient in a variety of accounting computer software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Google Sheets).
- Excellent time management skills and discipline to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
