Our Client: Marine Company 5.5 Days, Office hours Tuas Up to $8000 Basic + VB Responsibilities: Ensure operations and tasks performed by workers adhere to Workplace Safety & Health regulations and legal requirements. Review and approve permits, and prepare risk assessments. Maintain updated safety records for workers and carry out monthly inspections of fire extinguishers, lifting gear, machinery, etc. Collaborate with government agencies, such as MOM and NEA, on safety issues. Perform safety audits, address safety violations, and provide guidance on safe work practices. Lead daily safety inductions and training sessions. Identify and evaluate potential risks from the worksite or processes, then recommend and implement practical safety measures and procedures. Investigate and document all incidents, recommending corrective actions to prevent future occurrences, and conduct on-site inspections during heavy lifting and gas-free operations on vessels as needed. Source and coordinate with authorized contractors for the calibration of portable safety equipment. Perform documentation checks for contractors working in our yard and using equipment. Conduct safety inductions for visitors, contractors, and clients. Serve as the acting Internal ISO Auditor for the organization. Requirements: Min Degree certification Min 5 Years working experience in workplace safety & health in Marine industry Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO), Fire Safety Manager (FSM) and certified Confine Space Trainer.
