- Participate in the implementation of interesting assignments with Irish clients. Your tasks will include:
- Analysing security requirements for implementation in a wide variety of on-premise and/or cloud-based security tools.
- Assessing and measuring the implementation of security controls and architecture across a range of environments.
- Reviewing and performing gap analysis of security tooling, its implementation, configuration, and operationalisation.
- Implementation and configuration of security controls to set-up or improve defences.
- Good understanding of how to secure a broad range of IT infrastructure and apply tools, techniques and Standard Methodologies through implementation.
- Deep working knowledge and hands-on experience with some security tooling, e.g. Endpoint Detection and Response, Identity Management, Anti-Malware, Web Proxy, Firewalls, Security Information and Event Management, Cloud Access Security Broker, Data Leakage Prevention, Web Application Firewall, Multi-Factor Authentication, Data Rights Management etc.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS (Azure, AWS, Salesforce, etc.).
- Experience with setting up and operating DevSecOps environments and associated tooling.
- Experience in the documentation and design of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Experience in reviewing, creating or updating organisational IT security standards.
- Experience in operational security roles, and adjusting security tooling in response to evolving threat landscape.
- Familiarity with industry standards, guidelines, and regulatory compliance requirements related to information security and cloud computing such as GDPR, ISO 27001, Cloud Security Alliance, NIST 800-53, etc.
- Ability to work in complex organisations directly with clients and under little supervision.
- Problem-solving skills to resolve issues effectively and creatively while maintaining a high level of flexibility, professionalism and integrity.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- The individual should have a passion for new emerging security technology!
- Ability to influence technical discussions and decisions.
- 3+ years of security engineering experience.
- Certification(s) in the security tools which you have in-depth experience of.
- Relevant security certifications such as SSCP, Comptia Security+, CISSP, CISM and security vendor certifications.
- Relevant third-level qualification.
