Senior Finance Executive, Executive (Payroll)

As an Executive, your job duties include the following: Manage and handle the overall aspects of the Payroll system and ensure that employees’ monthly payroll and statutory deductions are completely and accurately computed by 1FSS-Payroll (Single Finance Shared Services organization by MOHH). Monitor and ensure that payments are made within the stipulated timeframe established by the Management. Analyze and maintain the Hospital’s Professional Fee module which is used for preparing and computing doctors’ Professional Fees and Senior Grade Fees and ensure that professional fees are paid promptly to medical employees. Process, prepare and/or reclassify in a timely manner postings of invoices / journals for manpower services in Financial Accounting system. Analyze manpower costs and prepare monthly /quarterly supporting schedules and management reports within the datelines set by Management. Perform month-end fluctuation analysis on manpower costs, provision of bonuses, monitoring employee’s bad debt settlement and review intercompany statements. Work in concert with Human Resource Department in reviewing and improving the Hospital’s payroll processing and to address present workflow gaps, with continuous efforts for improvement. Work with Human Resource Department & SGH Education Office on the remuneration / honoraria payable to Clinical Educators of the 3 medical schools namely Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (YLLSoM), Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School (GMS) and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCSoM). Serve as a custodian to communicate and liaise with external customers on manpower costs related issues and provide optimal payroll support to the departments to enable them to operate efficiently and effectively. Assist in other projects or tasks as assigned by supervisors, targeted towards achieving SGH’s priorities.
