As a Legal Counsel at Flipster You will be responsible for providing strategic legal guidance to mitigate risks and to support Flipster’s business and projects, as well as for drafting and negotiating documentation for Flipster Group. Responsibilities Regulatory: Support Flipster in our licensing applications and ongoing licensing/registration compliance and reporting, and keep up to date with knowledge of crypto-related regulations and enforcement updates. Product Legal: Support Flipster’s global product teams with legal advisory, guidance, and drafting related to new products, initiatives, campaigns, or events. Support internal Group function: Be responsible for both legal advisory and/or contract review/drafting in areas of technology vendor agreements and supplier contracts, intellectual property, cyber security, data protection, intercompany agreements, tax, and employment. Qualifications Law Degree holder (LLB/J.D or equivalent). Qualified solicitor in any commonwealth jurisdiction (Singapore/UK preferred). 2 - 8 years of working experience in digital assets, fintech/payments, or traditional financial industry (either in-house or private practice is fine). Preferred Prior experience, interest, or knowledge in the crypto industry is a strong advantage. Prior experience in the area of tax law, IP, investigations, or litigation is a plus. Strong problem-solving and project management skills. Ability to make good risk assessments and communicate risks clearly to non-legal teams. Ability to work in a fast-moving, uncertain, and challenging industry. Willingness to learn and engage in non-legal issues when required. Seniority required is 2 - 8 years of experience (scope of work and title can be adjusted depending on seniority of the candidate).
