As a Sales Employee at a Jotun Paint Shop, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting the right paint products, and driving sales. You will be responsible for maintaining a welcoming store environment, managing inventory, and ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers as they enter the store and offer assistance.
Understand customer needs and provide recommendations on paint products, colors, and accessories.
Answer customer queries regarding product features, applications, and availability.
Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet sales targets.
Upsell and cross-sell products based on customer needs.
Process sales transactions efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system.
Stay updated on Jotun's product range, including paint types, colors, finishes, and accessories.
Provide expert advice on paint application techniques and surface preparation.
Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing stock.
Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies.
Ensure that shelves are well-stocked and products are correctly labeled.
Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Arrange product displays and ensure promotional materials are up-to-date.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
Handle customer complaints or refer them to the store manager as necessary.
Work closely with other store employees to ensure a smooth sales process.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to achieving store goals.

Skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to understand and meet customer needs.
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Familiarity with paint products and their applications is an advantage.
