Job Summary: We are looking for a Project Engineer - Draftsman with a background in Interior Design to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed interior design drawings, collaborating with the project team, and ensuring the successful execution of interior design projects. Job Responsibilities:
- Create detailed interior design drawings including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and client specifications.
- Assist in the selection of materials, finishes, and furnishings for interior design projects.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess site conditions.
- Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure design specifications are met during implementation.
- Keep updated with industry trends, new materials, and technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Draftsman or Interior Designer in project engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and other design software.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create accurate technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction practices and materials is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or other drafting software.
- Strong understanding of interior design principles and concepts.
- Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of construction materials, techniques, and building codes.
- Experience in project management and coordination.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
