Job Description
- Floating RFQ, following up and evaluation of different offers as per project requirement.
- Reviews orders, create PO and manage approval process.
- Order realising to vendors, delivery follow-ups, material receipt and dispatch to various customer/projects.
- Tools and Equipment management.
- Managing Shipping and Logistics operations.
- Maintaining various records and weekly forecast/log sheets for internal customer and management review and regular updates.
- Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
- Reviewing, comparing and analysing products and services to be purchased.
- Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
- Keep detailed records of transactions for easily accessible database of what has been purchased from whom, contact information, and particulars regarding costs and deliveries.
- Getting a good price for items in the quantity desired delivered in a satisfactory time frame.
- Inspect the quality of the shipments received and contact the sender in case of problems.
- Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the Customer.
- Ensure smooth flow of the logistic activities by identifying potential weaknesses/obstacles.
- Track order acknowledgment, prepares and communicates shortage and backlog reports.
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations until products or services are delivered to Customer.
- Clear the shipments and avail duty exemption, FANR, TRA and ESMA approval for Oil & Gas Companies.
- Work with team members and Procurement & Logistics Manager to complete duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/Electronics and communication/ Logistics/ Supply Chain Management / Engineering or a Related Field.
Additional Information
Experience Requirements: Minimum: 04-05 years relevant experience in Supply Chain, Logistics and warehousing for Oil & Gas EPC Projects. Experience and knowledge of global shipping and logistics management. Experience with ERP solutions; Oracle, SAP. Strong Demand Planning & Forecasting experience. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques. Skills & Professional Requirements:- Knowledge of ERP solutions; Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal skills to get along with co-workers and outside vendors.
- Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills.
- Attention to details to ensure specifications are being met and quality of purchases is up to standard.
- Displaying admirable negotiating skills in order to get the best deals.
- Coordinating Materials, Order Management, Inventory Control, Transporting Materials, Examining and Verifying Materials, Impeccable time-management, Risk Management Skills.
