What to expect in this role The Delivery Lead is part of a highly motivated and specialised technical team. You will lead and manage complex projects to ensure they are delivered successfully and on time. The role offers an amazing opportunity to work on the cutting edge of the team's learnings about the problem, putting you in perfect stead to influence the solution to these key challenges. Here are some of the duties you will perform:
- End-to-end delivery of project, including planning, stakeholder engagement, schedule maintenance, risk management and reporting to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, to the right quality and within budget
- Managing and leading engagement through the setting of objectives and priorities, assigning and reviewing tasks and managing people
- Be the client lead for the project, liaising with Senior Executives, driving key engagement activities which need to occur and taking responsibility for the ongoing development and maintenance of the relationship with the client
- Developing client-ready documents, including delivery of powerful, effective client presentations
- Management of the projects margin / profitability
- Management of all resource / personnel assigned to the project
- Building relationships with clients and external project teams to ensure the successful delivery of the engagement
- Ultimate accountability for the quality of the team deliverables
- Undertake and support procurement and contracting activities aligned with the required work stream activities
- Supporting business development efforts including identifying potential of flow-on opportunities and contributing to proposals
- Mentoring and supporting your team in your engagement and across the broader Reason Group team
- Mandatory to have an active ASGVA security clearance.
- Equivalent of 7+ years of end-to-end delivery lead experience leading and delivering large projects
- Bachelor's degree in project management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Federal government experience
- Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Kanban) and business development
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional time management capability, and team prioritisation and delegation experience; including being a strong multitasker, with the ability to work under pressure
- High levels of self-motivation, energy and confident in working autonomously to lead the team
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
