Social Media Specialist: Cotton on Global Support Center, Cotton On

About the Role: We have a very exciting opportunity in our Cotton On
Asia team as a social media specialist. If you love creating brand
awareness and engaging customers through impactful content on social
channels, we’d love to chat!
Your role will consist of various tasks, which include: Bring to life
the social media content strategy, in line with the brand strategy,
across multiple channels (Instagram, TikTok, Paid Social, and
Facebook), maximising engagement, channel growth, and influencing
purchasing behaviour. Own the social media calendar and strategy with
flexibility and agility. With a curiosity mindset, never stop
learning, testing, measuring, and optimising our social media
activities. Bringing your deep understanding of reporting and social
media metrics, confidently find and present recommendations. Bring
your innovative thinking to content, sharing ideas and references for
content that delivers cut-through and process that enables
social-first content outcomes. Interact and engage with our community
on our social media channels, building the Cotton On community.
Deliver creativity in the development of content ideas, understanding
formats that drive engagement and awareness vs. sales and new customer
acquisition.
Be the trend setter—keeping up with the latest social media trends,
jumping on viral moments, and turning it into on-brand content. Lead
the way by identifying relevant market, platform, and consumer trends
that will keep Cotton On at the forefront of social. Partner with our
Paid Social Media team to set up, adapt, and analyse ad campaigns.
Influence our influencer marketing team to identify and integrate
relevant content creators and content trends into our roster and onto
our social media channels. Collaborate and build relationships with
other departments, including brand communications, marketing, and art
directors, to ensure that our social media content aligns with our
overall business objectives and customer needs. Provide guidance and
support to the social media coordinator.
Skills & Experience: Tertiary qualifications in marketing,
communications, or advertising are preferred. Demonstrated experience
establishing consumer-focused social channels. Solid understanding and
interest in retail are essential. Proven analytical and reporting
skills. Strong knowledge of web and social analytics platform tools is
essential.
