- User Research & Insights
- Conduct user research to understand the needs, pain points, and preferences of homeowners and HVAC installers.
- Analyze data to drive design decisions that improve the user experience.
- Product Ideation & Development
- Brainstorm and conceptualize new product features and integrations for the AirTouch ecosystem.
- Develop innovative solutions aligned with the product's goals.
- Design intuitive, accessible, and visually stunning interfaces for smart home devices and apps.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups for testing and validation.
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to align design goals with technical feasibility and market needs.
- Act as a design leader, ensuring the product vision is cohesive and achievable.
- Design Systems & Brand Consistency
- Maintain and evolve the AirTouch design system to ensure consistent branding across products.
- Develop reusable design components and assets.
- Testing & Iteration
- Lead usability testing sessions, gather user feedback, and refine designs for optimal performance.
- Iterate based on stakeholder input and usability data.
- Prototyping & Interaction Design
- Build interactive prototypes to showcase functionality and usability.
- Define interaction flows and animations that enhance the user experience.
- Documentation & Development Handoff
- Prepare detailed design specifications, guidelines, and visual assets for seamless developer handoff.
- Market Trends & Continuous Improvement
- Stay informed about trends in smart home technology and apply insights to enhance product competitiveness.
- Drive innovation, keeping AirTouch products at the forefront of the market.
- Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to company policies to ensure health, safety, and quality standards.
- Proactively identify and address issues affecting product quality or process efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in product design, preferably in smart home, IoT, or consumer electronics industries.
- A strong portfolio showcasing exceptional UI/UX design skills and user-centric solutions.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of 3D modeling tools (e.g., Shapr3D, SolidWorks) is a plus.
- Expertise in rapid prototyping, wireframing, and interactive animations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, with a collaborative mindset.
