Solution Architect - Data

If you’re passionate about creating robust solutions and advancing data practices, we’d love to hear from you. The Role As a Solution Architect (Data), you will:

• Represent the needs of Toyota NZ’s data landscape in solution design processes.
• Design and document business solutions aligned with Toyota NZ’s architectural standards and a TOGAF approach.
• Collaborate on solutions to complex business challenges, ensuring alignment between business requirements and our data systems.
• Lead initiatives to improve data governance and quality, advocating for master data management across the organization.
• Manage or participate in projects to design, test, and implement new systems, ensuring master data alignment.
• Tackle data migration activities, analysing and resolving data-related issues.

What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone with:

• A tertiary qualification in information management, data management, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience in data security, SQL analysis, and managing data sets and relationships.
• Strong skills in data modelling, database optimization, and business intelligence tools (particularly the Microsoft BI stack).
• Proven ability to progress data governance frameworks within organizations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong time management abilities and a focus on meeting deadlines.
