Make an Impact
In this role, you will work closely with a dedicated Design System team of passionate and highly skilled front-end engineers and designers. You will establish foundational patterns, UI components, tools, and documentation that will enable Serko’s pursuit of a new and exciting chapter for our enterprise products. You will bring a systematic and scalable design approach to your work and your understanding of technical requirements will help bridge the gap between design and engineering.What you will be doing
- Create foundational components, interaction patterns and documentation that empower other designers to do their best work
- Use data and telemetry to inform your designs and design thinking
- Create hypothesis, design, and execute AB tests
- Be an active contributor to a thriving growth-design practice
- Shape and maintain a robust and structured Figma library; from foundational elements to complex components
- Providing support, training, guidance, and feedback to other teams
- Collaborate with other product designers to ensure a consistent and cohesive experience across our products.
What you will bring
- You thrive in a collaborative, team environment
- Experience working with, building and maintaining a Design System
- Experience working in growth design field, data informed design and AB testing
- You’ll have a basic understanding of front-end coding
- Passion for design systems and infectious energy when it comes to communicating the value of a design system to the wider organisation
- Knowledge of technical constraints and guidelines that apply to various platforms, including web, iOS and Android
- You are a Figma power-user
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and are comfortable liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills and be able to use your initiative when it comes to prioritising based on impact and value
- You are comfortable with rapid change and the dynamic environments that come with working in a high-growth tech company
- You have a portfolio that demonstrates exemplary foundational design skills (typography, colour, layout, interactions).
