Purchasing, Procurement & Inventory (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics) As a Procurement Executive at Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's purchasing, procurement and inventory management functions. This full-time position is based in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan, and will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes. What you'll be doing Responsibilities and Authorities:
- Responsible for procurement materials/items sourcing and development.
- Communicate effectively with factory staff and suppliers to ensure stable operation.
- Solve problems between factory staff & suppliers regarding urgent orders and non-compliance issues.
- Conduct price negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost improvement.
- Responsible for Supplier Management (including supplier evaluation and vendor non-conformance requisition).
- Monitor and update supplier information, tax exemption and other compliances.
- Maintain records and proper filing to fulfil regulatory requirement.
- Organize supplier audits upon request.
- Supply risk management (ensure approved procedures are implemented and maintained).
- Ensure purchase of procurement materials/items complies with all the requirements.
- Perform special / ad hoc functions related to purchasing matters.
- Equip with sufficient safety and environment knowledge and awareness.
- Candidate preferably possesses a Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance/Accounting, Business Management or any related field.
- Preferably 1-2 years of working experience in Procurement/Purchasing or equivalent in the same position.
- Experience in Food & Beverage/Retail Industry is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of HACCP & Halal Certification is an added advantage.
- Possess strong negotiation and analytical skills.
- Possess good interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, positive attitude, self-motivated.
