Junior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist

Job Summary: As a Junior Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will assist in identifying, attracting, and hiring top technical talent. You will work closely with hiring managers and the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a seamless recruitment process and help build a strong pipeline of candidates for technical roles. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the full recruitment cycle for technical positions, including job posting, resume screening, interview coordination and conducting interviews.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical role requirements and candidate profiles.
- Utilize various sourcing methods to identify potential candidates, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals.
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate information.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to assess technical skills and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Assist in the development and implementation of recruitment strategies to attract diverse technical talent.
- Participate in career fairs, recruitment events, and other networking opportunities.
- Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including preparation of recruitment reports and metrics.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in technical recruitment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 6 months of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably with a focus on technical roles.
- Basic understanding of technical roles and skills, and familiarity with programming languages and technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with ATS “applicant tracking system” or HRIS systems.
- Experience in technical recruitment or talent acquisition is a plus
- Knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools for identifying technical talent is a plus
- Familiarity with social media recruiting and employer branding is a plus
