Process Specialist COMP3 Contract OpportunityWe have a current opening for a Process Specialist with COMP3 experience on a contract basis. The position will be based in Doha, Qatar.The COMP3 project is part of a large-scale offshore Compression Development Program, which involves the construction of new offshore facilities, including five riser platforms, one wellhead platform, 110km of CRA pipelines, subsea composite cables, and Fiber Optic lines. Additionally, the project includes extensive brownfield modifications to existing Wellhead and Riser Platforms.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.At least 15 years' experience in Process Engineering within a major project environment, with expertise in design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities design, construction, and operations.Familiarity with offshore platforms and topside process systems design.Knowledge of Flow Assurance and hydrate management aspects.Responsibilities:Review and validate all Process Engineering documents (drawings/datasheets/philosophies/specifications, etc).Accountable for reviewing and validating all Flow Assurance designs, including Steady State Hydraulic Analysis, Transient Study, Dynamic Simulation, and Hydrate Management for all Intra-field Pipelines and Trunklines using OLGA software.Assist with economic/financial evaluations of feasibility studies and opportunities to optimize project deliverables.Proficient in process software such as HYSYS (Steady State and Dynamic Simulations), OLGA, FLARNET, PIPSIM, etc.Demonstrate team leadership skills, integrity, interpersonal understanding, and self-confidence.Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.This opportunity is ideal for experienced Process Specialists seeking a challenging contract role in the oil and gas industry.
