DevOps Engineer

Job Description:Lead and manage the full DevOps lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration across environments.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Microsoft Azure DevOps.Strong experience in Ansible and Azure Cloud.Automate and standardize environments with configuration management tools.Set up and maintain monitoring and logging frameworks for real-time system visibility.Integrate security best practices into the DevOps pipeline to ensure compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.Design and implement disaster recovery plans and high availability solutions.Manage and configure various DevOps tools, including Git, Jenkins, and Docker.Maintain detailed documentation and provide regular system performance reports.Strong proficiency in DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).Experience in system monitoring and logging tools.Strong collaboration and communication skills.Manage applications, service availability, change management, incident/event management, problem management, configuration management, capacity management, reporting, and metrics.Capacity planning on business growth.Manage planned server upgrades and security patches to ensure adherence to supported OS versions, coordinating with stakeholders.Manage production incidents, system outages, slow responses, and coordination with stakeholders like IS, TS, IT Security, Business, and Vendors.Manage ECR (Emergency Change Request) process.Monitor Linux servers CPU/Memory/Load Average.Coordinate with TS (Technology and Service) during production server security patching activities.Configure Symphony tool for application servers and DB servers.Software and hardware upgrade activities in production system.Ensure synchronization of promoted release items with DR site.Perform planned and ad-hoc DR switch over activities in production system.Prepare RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for production incidents and unplanned outages and distribute across the network.Monitor and review EMS alerts.Create dashboards in ELK for monitoring and analysis.About Virtusa: Add the Middle East to your global professional experience and have the opportunity to work on some of the leading Digital Transformation programs.
