What the role is: Monitor and analyse the evolving philanthropy landscape to derive insights and opportunities. Develop and execute innovative strategies and initiatives to drive change for Community Chest in Singapore’s philanthropy space. Support the team in regular reporting and updates to the Committee and/or senior management team on insights and KPIs. What you will be working on: Establish growth trajectory and performance matrix for Community Chest to develop multi-year strategies and goals. Evaluate philanthropic opportunities through competitive, financial, sectoral and strategic fit analyses and develop new ideas and innovative funding instruments. Facilitate informed decision making by providing timely research and insights to the senior management team and Committee. Formulate and monitor the balanced scorecard and KPIs for Community Chest. Lead projects and assignments as needed. What we are looking for: Personal Competencies: Structured and analytical mind with good problem identification and solving abilities. Strategic thinking and good interpersonal skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with multiple stakeholders. Able to work independently as well as in a team. Skills & Knowledge: Numerical and comfortable with handling financial projections; advanced aptitude in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of the social service/fundraising landscape will be an added advantage. Experience: Minimum 3 years of work experience in strategy formulation and execution. About National Council of Social Service: NCSS is a statutory board and an umbrella body for some 450 member social service organisations in Singapore.
