Reporting to the Senior Partner Operation, this job role provides support, financial analysis, banking transactions, documenting financial transactions, Monitoring the efficiency of existing accounting procedures, and reviewing financial documents to resolve any discrepancies and irregularities.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

  • Accounting First Degree, BSc or equivalent from a reputable institution – Candidates with demonstrable proficiency and experience in similar role will be considered.
  • Post Graduate Professional qualification – ACA, ACCA is an Advantage
  • Developing and documenting accounting policies and business processes
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations
  • Advanced Knowledge of computer skills with proficiency with Quickbooks, SOS inventory and all MS packages: Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook, Project Manager & Access.

Desirable

  • Manage daily account operations
  • prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information, recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP principles
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports. and ensuring that you complete all jobs on time and ensure this is all done within the confines of the organization goals and vision.
  • Keeping track of transactions and ensuring records are accurate and up to date
  • Financial auditing
  • Reviewing financial records and statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with the law
  • Analysing financial statements
  • Preparing financial reports, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements
  • Helping to prepare budgets and forecasts
  • Analysing financial data collection, tracking, and communicating financial information to help businesses make decisions.
