Electrical Specialist (Offshore Facilities)

Job ResponsibilitiesSafely and efficiently lead and supervise brownfield activities executed by the EPC Contractor related to Electrical and HVAC disciplines for the project.
Closely follow up on the EPC Contractor's scope concerning the highest safety and quality standards in compliance with contract requirements and project objectives.
Coordinate and manage all on-site activities, as well as support other project disciplines to deliver successful projects safely, on time, and within the desired quality level.
Deliver the Brownfield Project on time under the Company Project Management System, within budget, and to the required quality level.
Work with the project team to maintain relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
Coordinate to ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the schedule.
Prepare and provide routine verbal and written progress reports to the Head of HUC BROWNFIELD, updating the contractor's performance with analysis to achieve progress.
Review the contractor's construction and Brownfield deliverables such as Method Statements and procedures as per company specifications.
Attend workshops, shutdown gates, document reviews, formal risk assessments, and deliverables to support project execution.
Your TasksProvide safety, health, and environmental leadership by example to the project team and contractors, subcontractors, and site vendors.
Ensure the contractor team implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilities for HSES project deliverables.
Deliver project phase requirements and milestones as defined in the schedule in line with the COMPANY Management System.
Supervise and control the activities of the Contractor/Subcontractors related to electrical and HVAC operations and commissioning to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project documentation, and applicable international standards.
Liaise with Contractors/Subcontractors for all electrical and HVAC subjects, commissioning, and ensure progress follow-up and reporting.
Contribute to engineering and design checks for electrical and HVAC aspects, ensuring compliance with all technical requirements by providing inputs.
Participate in Risk Assessments kick-off meetings, Pre-Job Meetings, pre-SIMOPS visits, technical meetings, etc., as required in accordance with the Company's referential.
Ensure Permit To Work preparation in due time with necessary technical and HSE documentation in line with standards.
Ensure the proper quality and traceability of the fabrication assisted if required.
Ensure with Contractors/Subcontractors that all built dossiers are properly handed over to the Onshore and Offshore Team.
Verify that the EPC Contractor's reports are accurate regarding progress reporting.
Develop and mentor staff.
Participate in REX and Lessons Learned for the Company.
Your ProfileEngineer or technician with more than 10 years of experience in O&G facility construction, project, or operations.
Technical background with a minimum of 10 years of experience in Electrical Construction, Project, commissioning, or Maintenance of O&G.
Experience in offshore electrical and HVAC construction, commissioning, and brownfield activities under SIMOPS conditions.
Good knowledge in HVAC and commissioning.
Knowledgeable in HAZOP, HAZID, and Risk Assessment processes and applications.
Good knowledge of international codes and standards related to Electricity and HVAC.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
Computer literacy involving regular use of professional office applications and some technical applications.
Able to supervise a multi-cultural team committed to meeting project objectives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on teamwork and the ability to communicate and interact within a PMT.
Ability to deliver in a schedule-driven project environment.
Our OfferSalary: Day Rate in USD plus allowance.
Work Schedule: 10 hours / 6 days.
Duration: Until 31 Oct 2027 with possible extension.
