Technical Quality Assurance Department is looking for a Compliance Assessor to be based in Doha, Qatar.You will assist quality assurance management and other team members in the operation of the company quality and safety systems by undertaking preliminary investigation of occurrence reports, participation in internal audits and surveillance activities, verification of implemented actions, data and trend analysis, involvement in improvement projects and issuance of company member work permits.Operational Accountabilities:Monitor and control the required quality and service standards implemented through the entire network for safe and compliant operations.Liaise with administrative assistants/coordinators in the preparation of quality assurance reports and KPIs for management review meetings.Review data from the quality and safety management systems, conduct trend analysis for the identification of adverse trends.Conduct the review, assessment and issuance of equipment and mechanic work permit applications.Review, assess and process engineer license applications.Conduct preliminary assessment and investigation of occurrence reports to identify reports that require further assessment, full investigation or mandatory occurrence reporting to the aviation authority.Assist assigned investigators in full investigations by collating evidence, researching maintenance records and approved maintenance data and any other research that may be required as part of the investigation.Assist auditors in the preparation, accomplishment and follow-up of audit and surveillance activities. Undertake verification of implemented corrective and preventative actions resulting from audit noncompliance reports and occurrence report investigations.Draft the content of quality notices/leaflets for review and approval by quality assurance management. Review continuation training feedback in order to identify areas of concern for review and investigation.Review and prepare continuation training content relating to safety, airworthiness and compliance. Lead the whole phase of the projects relating to safety, airworthiness, compliance and process improvement.Preparation of quality assurance documentation content such as the creation or amendments to quality assurance company procedures and forms.Collaborate with other Technical department heads to improve work methods, efficient processes and ensure that adequate and proper controls are in place.Provide interpretation, advice and guidance on any regulatory procedural issues and provide a gap analysis and/or roadmap to ensure positive forward movement.Coordinate/assist in procedural review with other Departments.Issue, renew, suspend, cancel company authorizations.Track the validity of authorizations and issue notifications for expiring authorizations.Manage authorization boards (Technical/practical/procedures).Manage Part M/145/147 related authorizations.Prepare agenda for TSAG meeting and coordinate and follow-up with all stakeholders in coordination with SQAE investigations.Prepare GSSCM meeting in coordination with Manager Investigations.Prepare analysis reports for ongoing/re-occurring occurrences and investigations.Prepare analysis reports for authorized staff failures of QCAA Part 66 license examination and Board assessments.Manage and follow up and record keeping of QCAA audit on Part M, QCAA/EASA audit on Part 145/147.Assist and follow up on findings and record keeping when Customer/Customer CAA audits on Qatar Airways.Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.Be part of an extraordinary storyYour skills. To us, impossible is only a challenge.Join us as we dare to achieve what's never been done before.QualificationsHigh School Qualification / Vocational Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience ORBachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience.Training on QCAA/EASA regulations.Received training on at least 1 modular course operated by Qatar Airways.Well conversant with the use of computer databases, like Trax, MS Access.
