Profile Senior Manager - E&I Engineering Design

Are you an experienced E&I design professional with the skills to lead a team on large-scale offshore projects, overseeing the design of offshore platforms, greenfield projects, and HV substations?

- We are looking for a Senior Manager - E&I Engineering Design to oversee the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) design discipline, manage the team, ensuring project quality, budget adherence, and progress, while also focusing on coaching, resource planning, and implementing design standards for offshore and greenfield projects.

- Tasks & responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the E&I design discipline.

Day-to-day management of employees within the E&I design team.

Coaching team members on career development, education, and training opportunities.

Oversee manpower planning, resourcing, and recruitment of new personnel.

Monitor projects to ensure they meet budget, schedule, and quality targets.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimise project outcomes.

Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) standards.

Lead standardisation initiatives for E&I processes.

Provide strategic input to improve efficiency and effectiveness in E&I design.

Drive continuous improvements in project delivery and team performance.

Manage relationships with international clients, adapting to different cultural expectations.

Serve as the point of contact to project updates and design-related matters.

Requirements Senior Manager - E&I Engineering Design

Bachelor's degree (BSc) in a relevant engineering field.

Fluency in Dutch is required, both verbally and in writing.

At least 15 years of experience in E&I design, with a focus on both basic and detailed engineering projects.

At least 10 years of experience managing E&I design teams, particularly in detailed engineering.

Experience with greenfield lump-sum projects.

Strong background in E&I design, including HV, MV, and LV systems.

Familiarity with telecommunication, F&G detection, and process automation.

Proven experience in offshore platform design and HV substation.

Excellent communication and editing skills.

Solution-oriented attitude with a well-developed sense of responsibility.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a diverse team.

Experience working with international clients and adapting to various cultures.
