Key Responsibilities:

Energy Systems Design & Development:

Lead the technical design and development of large-scale energy systems, for example, power plants, cogeneration systems, and renewable energy solutions.

Oversee the integration of energy technologies, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental sustainability.

Ensure optimization of energy conversion processes, including efficiency and performance.

Project Management:

Manage end-to-end project lifecycle for industrial-scale energy projects, from conceptual design through commissioning.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget by working closely with internal stakeholders and external contractors.

Conduct technical risk assessments, identifying and mitigating potential issues during design and implementation.

Turbomachinery & Equipment Expertise:

Provide expertise in the design, selection, and optimization of turbomachinery, including turbines, compressors, and pumps.

Oversee the integration and performance testing of turbomachinery within energy systems, ensuring reliability and operational excellence.

Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure best-in-class technology and equipment are selected.

Technical Leadership & Innovation:

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Drive innovation in energy system designs, leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance system efficiency.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers to ensure seamless integration of energy systems.

Liaise with external stakeholders such as clients, regulators, and partners to ensure alignment on project goals and technical requirements.

Your Profile:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).

Experience:

At least 10 years of experience in the energy industry, with a focus on industrial-scale energy systems or power plants.

Proven track record in managing and delivering large-scale energy projects, with hands-on experience in energy conversion systems.

Extensive knowledge of thermodynamics, energy cycles (e.g., Rankine, Brayton), and heat transfer.

Deep experience with turbomachinery (turbines, compressors, pumps, etc.).

Skills:

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in power plants and energy systems.

Familiarity with design software and simulation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, ANSYS, MATLAB) is a plus.

Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Ability to drive innovation in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Knowledge of regulatory and safety standards in the energy sector.
