(Are you an amazing reservoir expert?) We’re looking for a talented professional to help us keep the good energy flowing based from our office in Bell Block. In this interesting and varied role you will be part of the team helping to coordinate various activities to provide safe, reliable and cost-effective operations of the Ahuroa Gas Storage (AGS) facility. We're looking for the right person to take on this role - you might be a Reservoir Engineer who will provide subsurface petroleum engineering expertise, or an Asset Manager who takes an overview of facility operations, maintenance and projects, and leads the petroleum engineering effort in support of optimised well and reservoir management. This role includes ensuring the facility is operated in accordance with the Approved Safety Case, the conditions of the Petroleum Mining Permit and other applicable legislation, such as the PECPR Regulations. Qualifications He aha tāu e kawe mai (What you will bring) Along with your engineering degree appropriate for reservoir management and 8+ years oil & gas upstream experience (with a focus on reservoir management) you will have:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong adherence to process and procedures, including regulatory compliance
- Ability to coordinate others to achieve a collaborative outcome
- Ability to present ideas and technical detail to an audience
- Good contractor management and coordination skills
