Create impact as a Roadside Rescue Product Owner As a product owner for Roadside Rescue, you’ll play a crucial role in bringing Consumer Brands propositions to market. Collaborating with the Segment Manager - Motor and Product Leads, you’ll define, prioritize, and manage initiatives, working across cross-functional teams to drive customer satisfaction, growth, and long-term profitability. Your role involves contributing to designing integrated go-to-market propositions, reviewing requirements, and leveraging customer insights to ensure optimal outcomes. Acting as a liaison between the propositions team and stakeholders, you’ll manage the product backlog, ensuring transparency and alignment with evolving business needs. Additionally, you’ll oversee product development, ensure compliance with risk and regulatory frameworks, and build strong relationships across IAG NZ and Group. This is a permanent full-time role, and you can be based out of any of our offices across New Zealand. To excel in this role, you should ideally have:
- Strong understanding of general insurance functions
- Extensive experience in strategy development and delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to foster a customer-centric environment
- Strong commercial acumen
- Ability to translate strategy into operational plans
- Skilled in business analysis and problem-solving
- Committed to achieving challenging objectives
