Procurement Lead - Doha - Global Project Services AG

The Procurement Lead - Structural is responsible for leading and coordinating all activities necessary to purchase goods and/or services/subcontracts carried out by buyers.
- Liaise with buyers to assign purchasing requests and initiate the procurement process.
- Determine bidder lists based on project requirements, market knowledge, and internal needs.
- Approve Request for Quotations prepared by buyers.
- Evaluate commercial/economic proposals from vendors.
- Negotiate commercial/economic terms with vendors.
- Verify and approve purchase orders/subcontracts.
- Support buyers in performing daily tasks and promoting market knowledge/scouting.
- Foster a culture of professional development among buyers.
- Maintain confidentiality of technical/commercial/economical information received from vendors.
- Manage claims and transactions efficiently.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
- A deep understanding of Qatar's market and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications.
