Job PurposeThe candidate will collaborate closely with senior managers and the sales team to foster and strengthen our Global Markets client relationships. Key responsibilities include providing solutions and support for Trading Operations and Product Control functions, actively participating in roadshows and leading client meetings, setting up new support teams, leading transitions and overseeing teams.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting clients on setting up and managing processes for:Trading Operations, including trade lifecycle management, settlements, allocations, etc.Product control & Financial controlClient Relationship Management: Actively participate in roadshows and lead client meetings to build and strengthen relationshipsIdentify and purse new business opportunitiesLead transitions and facilitate smooth account setupDemonstrate strength and flair in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessmentTeam ManagementSetup teams, manage staffing and oversee delivery teamsSetup processes and process control plans for managing smooth workflow and project completions - managing project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure "high client satisfaction"Provide guidance and trainings to the team-members, monitor team-performance and drive productivityCollaborate with senior management and the sales team to develop and implement strategic initiativesDemonstrate strong understanding of leading software applications and platforms, to drive meaningful discussion with clients on transitions and implementationsKey Qualification and CompetenciesMBA/ CFA/ CAStrong statistical and analytical skillsMiddle office or Control function experience with Investment banks / investment banking clientsSound knowledge of financial markets with hands on experience in Equities, Fixed income products, Derivatives, Securitized products, Swaps, etc.Experience and good understanding of global market operations, including Middle-office & Back-office operations, Trade life cycle managementThe candidate should have the ability to work independentlyPrior experience of process transitions and system implementations would have an advantageAbility to understand client requirements and execute work under pressure especially on short time bound deadlinesExcellent written and spoken communication skillsMS Office skills - should be good in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, and MS Word AGG
