Responsibilities:Compiling functional design specificationsTraining and guiding Junior Engineers and TechniciansProviding technical assistance to BDEnergy and power meter framework designEMS, AMR system design and commissioningMetering systems FAT and SAT procedures and testingReviewing design documentationsEnsuring system integration and testingQuality assurance and control with particular emphasis on conformance to customer specificationsSupporting field techniciansAttending to client's queries and supportsConfiguring hardware (servers, switches, gateways, power meters) Experience required: Function related experience: 10 years' experience in energy management, AMR and EMSAdvance skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPointMicrosoft SQL Server knowledgeTechnical knowledge of electrical panel design and meter installations5 years' experience with Schneider Electric PME and ION architecture5 years' experience in billing/revenue energy meters (e.g. Landis and Gyr, Elster, Enermax)3 years' experience in power quality audit and mitigation equipment5 years' experience in industrial network switches and gateways (e.g. Moxa, Teltonika, Truteq)Strong technical documents writing skillsAbility to effectively communicate with team membersAbility to manage and interact with subcontractors and suppliers Qualifications: Matric CertificateElectrical/Electronic Engineering DegreePost graduate qualification in Engineering (Electrical)Registered with ECSA as a Professional EngineerProject Management backgroundPower Quality backgroundSchneider Electric advanced PMECertified Energy Management (CEM)Energy Performance Certification (EPC)
