Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as an Urban program Lead for Employment and Livelihood of Persons with Disabilities (PWD) in Mumbai. He/she will be responsible for planning, implementing, expanding, and overseeing Sol's ARC's vocational education initiatives at a national scale. This role is pivotal in building partnerships, ensuring curriculum excellence, and driving meaningful industry placements for Persons with Disability (PWD) KEY RESPONSIBILITIES--- Program Development
- Conduct outreach to special schools, NGOs, therapy centers, and other organizations to promote programs.
- Design and review content development structures.
- Manage and coordinate curriculum development and the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Review community-based livelihood model and pilot learnings.
- Review community resource mobilization and support for vocational education initiatives.
- Oversee the development and execution of new projects.
- Create and review SOPs, streamline processes
- Manage work distribution and delegation
- Track project progress and operations at both the micro and macro levels.
- Facilitate sector council assessments, internships, and placements.
- Build LFA, trackers,
- Monitor program
- Oversee data collection,
- Use data findings to improve program processes
- Build new partnerships with industries for internships and placement opportunities for PWDs.
- Partner with NGOs, national institutes, and government bodies for student training.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, including regular visits and communication.
- Participate in forums to represent the organization.
- Ensure donor compliance, meet deadlines, and handle documentation and report writing.
- Lead, retain, and build the capacity of the team.
- Manage Team dynamics
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience, including substantial team management experience.
- Proven track record in program management and scaling.
- Experience with monitoring and evaluation (M&E), documentation, and reporting.
- Previous involvement in Community livelihood projects and/or special education is an added advantage.
