About the Role:The Lean team is committed to identifying, leading, and delivering Lean Six Sigma projects and training as part of our Continuous Improvement and Transformation journey. These projects drive operational efficiency and transformational change with visible benefits, directly supporting Qatar Airways strategic goals and continuous improvement efforts.As a Lean Manager, you will act as an advocate and ambassador of Lean Methodology, supporting the adoption and institutionalization of continuous improvement practices. You will collaborate with divisions, regions, or subsidiaries to deliver impactful Lean Transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will coach, mentor, and guide teams, acting as a change agent and leveraging your expertise in Lean Methodologies, project management, and change management.In this role, you will also manage the Lean Academy, driving its mission to develop organizational knowledge and skills in Lean Methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee tactical planning, monitoring, and evaluation of Qatar Airways Lean Initiatives.Provide tactical insights to align Lean initiatives with the organization's long-term goals.Offer guidance on the development of both long-term and short-term Lean project plans.Identify and propose areas for improvement in key processes, regulatory compliance, and efficiency.Develop business cases and roadmaps for future Lean projects.Facilitate and ensure the success of Lean Academy training sessions, from design and delivery to performance tracking and continuous improvement.Lead the development of the Lean Academy curriculum, ensuring it meets the current and future needs.Manage the training and development of the Lean Academy ensuring consistent high-quality program delivery.Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, using feedback loops to ensure continuous improvement.Act as a champion for Lean culture, promoting the adoption of Lean Methodologies throughout the organization.Track participant progress and certifications, ensuring standards are met and improvements are ongoing.About youPreferred Bachelor's Degree or EquivalentLean Six Sigma BB with minimum 6 years of job-related experience.Proven experience in Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.Demonstrated ability to deliver successful projects with visible results across different industries.Experience leading Lean trainings up to Green Belt level.Strong background in project management, including managing large-scale projects.Experience designing and improving business processes.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire.Experience working with senior leadership to influence change and deliver business improvements.
