Company Name: Magick Woods Exports Pvt LtdLocation: Maraimalainagar, ChennaiJob: General Manager - Quality Assurance (Asia)Exp: 20+ yrsRoles & Responsibilties:Overall responsibility for Quality activities across the business.Develop and maintain Quality Systems according to global furniture quality standards and legal regulation for quality function.Monitor the verification and follow-up of quality issues occuring at the production line and customer sites, ensuring all open NCM issues can be closed in a timely manner.Interface with customers/ suppliers on inspection methods, test report requirements in technical agreements, master sample sign-off, on-site inspections, sorting arrangement, and NCM Components and products disposal method.Ensure Compliance to timeline and quality for various phases of engineering process.Develop and execute various improvements to Quality process and develop new processess on same.Perform quality assessments for process and monitor all activities for measuring processess.Monitor projects, identisy risks and able to solve the issues.Build up team coordination & Leadership skills.Should be Good Konowledge in QMS Standards, 7 QC tools, FMEA tools etc.Skills & Attributes:Driven problem solver who embodies ownership and urgency with a strong focus on results.Relationship-building skills internally and externally, with a focus on key customer.Proven leadership and Management skills with the ability to optimise team performance and developmentExcellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliers.Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.Results oriented withability to plan and deliver against project deadlines.Qualification and Exoerience: Engineering Graduate from a Tier 1/ Tier 2 Institute.Overall, 20+ Years of experience.Minimum 10 Years of Leadership Experience with proven record.Six Sigma Certifications will be an added advantage.With QMS certifications preferrable.With Quality Auditor certifications Preferrable.Proven project management and quality experience. AGG
