The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience working with Python and web development frameworks, particularly Django. You will contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance our product offerings and help drive Hexnode's mission forward.As part of the development team, you will be working on backend services, implementing scalable solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and improve overall system performance.Key Responsibilities:Develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python and Django.Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end systems.Work with Celery for task queues, ensuring efficient background processing.Collaborate with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and CI/CD integration.Optimize database queries and design efficient data models using PostgreSQL.Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure high-performance, scalable, and reliable systems.Participate in code reviews to maintain high coding standards.Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.Key Skills & Qualifications:1-3 years of experience in Python development, with strong proficiency in Django and Web Development.Familiarity with Celery for asynchronous task processing.Hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.Knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs.Experience with version control systems like Git.Solid understanding of software development principles and best practices.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an agile environment.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and grow.Desirable Skills:Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Knowledge of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.Understanding of security principles in web development.
