Senior Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Developer (Outsource)Dammam, Saudi Arabia | Posted on 05/08/2024ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for reporting and analysis.Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.Transform complex data sets into easy-to-understand visualizations that communicate trends, patterns, and insights.Ensure data accuracy and integrity by validating data sources, implementing data cleansing techniques, and establishing data governance best practices.Optimize data models and queries to improve report performance and usability.Conduct user training and provide ongoing support to ensure effective use of BI tools and reports.Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in BI and data visualization.RequirementsBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Statistics, or similar fields.Proven experience with a minimum of 7 years as a BI Designer, with expertise in designing and developing BI solutions.Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into actionable insights.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of data visualization best practices and techniques.Certification in BI tools (Good to have).Additional ExperienceSolid experience in dealing with SQL Server Databases with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the following:Developing solid data warehouse solutions using Microsoft Platform.Developing Paginated reports using SSRS.At least 1 year of experience working on the following:Proven experience in developing and maintaining .NET Core Razor web applications.Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, and Razor Pages.Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.Knowledge of relational databases and experience with SQL Server or similar database systems.
