JOBINFORMATION Job Title : ICURegistrar JOBSUMMARY As a Registrar in the ICUyou would be involved in the care of critically ill patientsincluding monitoring their vital signs administering medicationsand assisting in procedures as directed by senior physicians. MAINDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide primary medical ICU care topatients.Diagnose and treat various medicalconditions.Conduct routine examinations andhealth assessments.Develop and implementcomprehensive treatment plans.Monitor patientsprogress and adjust treatment asnecessary.Collaborate with a multidisciplinaryhealthcare team to ensure coordinated patientcare.Maintain accurate and uptodate patientrecords.Document all clinical activitiesincluding assessments diagnoses andtreatments.Communicate effectively withpatients their families and colleagues.Provideclear explanations of medical conditions and treatmentoptions.Stay updated on medical advancementsguidelines and best practices.Participate inongoing medical education and professionaldevelopment.Adhere to medical ethics standardsand regulations.Follow hospital policies andprocedures.Work collaboratively withconsultants residents and other healthcareprofessionals.Participate in medical roundscase discussions and team meetings.Respondpromptly to medical emergencies.Provide urgentmedical care as required.Demonstrate culturalawareness and sensitivity in patientinteractions.Respect diverse patientbackgrounds and perspectives.Uphold a highstandard of professionalism and integrity.Actas a positive ambassador for the hospital and the medicalprofession.REQUIREDQUALIFICATIONSEducationGraduate from a medical school of goodstanding.Masters Degree or equivalentqualification.Membership and/or Fellowshipstatus in Royal College or their equivalent and fulfilling thecriteria for the registrar as requiredAcertificate recognized by the Saudi commission is amust.Dataflow is a must.ProfessionalExperience 2 yearsspecialized postqualification experience in ICU in a recognizedcenter or hospital.LanguageProficiency in English; additional proficiencyin Arabic may be beneficial.ReferencesPositive professional references attesting tothe candidates skills and ethical conduct.
