Professional certifications in medicalcoding such as Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or CertifiedCoding Specialist (CCS) are preferred.MedicalCoding Knowledge: Deep understanding of medical coding systems suchas ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS. Ability to accurately apply medicalcodes to medical diagnoses andprocedures.Technical Skills: Ability to useHealth Information Management (HIM) software and systems andmedical coding software.
