Proficiency in learning management systems,including Blackboard, is important for effectively organizingcourse materials and facilitating communication withstudents.Preparing a comprehensive coursesyllabus is vital, encompassing approved student learningobjectives and outcome evaluation criteria. Collaboration withprogram faculty, affiliated institutions, and governmental agenciesensures that educational offerings align with both Abu Dhabi andnational priorities in food science. Understanding ACENDaccreditation standards and working alongside faculty andadministrators to ensure compliance is also necessary formaintaining program quality. Desired candidate profile Support for ADU's outcome initiatives includesrefining course assignments and evaluation tools, as well asparticipating in data analysis discussions to inform program andcourse improvements. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of teachingexperience and a proven track record in teaching, program planning,and problem-solving. A strong record of peer-reviewed publicationsis required, with specific h-index benchmarks depending on theacademic rank. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate stronginterpersonal skills and excellent verbal and written communicationabilities, along with a familiarity with ACEND accreditationstandards and an understanding of the grant universitysystem's mission regarding academic excellence andcommunity engagement.
