BAE Systems Strategic Aerospace Services WLL | Full time Business Area Name: Typhoon City: Dukhan Country: Qatar Postal Code: 000000 Job DescriptionThe Simulator Instructor Pilot will be responsible for the delivery of ground-based pilot training on the Typhoon to QEAF personnel. They will utilize the classroom, Mission Training Simulators, and teaching devices to train QEAF Instructor and student Pilots. In the synthetic devices, they will also provide currency training for, and assessment of, qualified Typhoon pilots.Core ActivityThe incumbent must be capable of delivering instruction with the classroom media operation, Typhoon synthetic training devices, Mission Training Simulator, and the Avionics Part Task Trainer. They must maintain a detailed knowledge of the aircraft avionics and weapons systems, SOPs, and the tactical employment of the Typhoon.RequirementsUtilise the aircraft Mission Training Simulators and teaching devices to provide ground-based pilot training at the training centre and on the Squadron.To maintain knowledge of current aircraft operations, the aircraft and weapons configuration as capability is introduced or enhanced.In-depth knowledge of the Customer operation and flying programme.In-depth knowledge of the process through which BAE Systems will safely operate the aircraft.Be a qualified aircrew instructor in both academic and operation of the training devices.
