We are currently seeking to recruit a professional to assume the role of Credit Control Officer within the Finance Department. The position is based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.The role requires the successful candidate to be involved in the general business of the credit control department, mainly monitoring of customer collections, contacting customers in relation to collections and various other related tasks.Duties and responsibilitiesReviewing and controlling customer balances and arranging collectionsOpening new customers in the ERPReviewing and approving and releasing customer ordersMaintaining procedural framework for Credit & Collection operations and implement enhancements wherever required in the existing proceduresEnsuring that receivables are timely converted to cash with effective collection techniques and bad debts are maintained at minimum levelStrict implementation of flexible credit policies and procedures, but also to take calculated risk to increase revenuesCollection of information regarding new customers (Credit agency search/ supplier search / financial statements)Communication with customers / banks regarding returned/unpaid chequesPreparation of customer reconciliations on a monthly basis with the top customersPreparing and communicating to the collectors the daily collections schedulesQualifications and SkillsA Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fieldAble to register with SOCPAExcellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic & EnglishExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office softwareAnalytical skillsStrong Team PlayerExcellent Interpersonal SkillsThe capacity to handle more than one decision-reporting centreReportingCredit Control ManagerRemunerationAn attractive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience.Logicom is committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all regardless of their race, colour, sex/gender, religion, age, marital status, cultural background, disability, nationality and political opinion.
